Alber is supporting the children and youth sports segment of the German Wheelchair Sports Association (DRS) with a financial donation. “Improving mobility while having fun” is the motto of the mobility courses for children and youth regularly offered by DRS. Up to ten mobility and wheelchair training courses have been held each year since 1983. The young people train their wheelchair mobility and many other skills during the one-week courses, achieving greater independence and self-determination. They experience, learn and practice many activities that previously seemed impossible—and have fun while doing so! |
